EXERCISE OUTDOORS
We had breakfast at the breakfast buffet in the Lido Marketplace, which is almost the same everyday. Then we exercised. My husband played pickleball, a sport that is becoming more and more popular, then he played basketball. The weather was finally warming up, so I could wear shorts outside. It was overcast, but it felt nice outside.

Then we went back to our room to change for lunch.

COOL LOOKING LANAI ON DECK FIVE
Before lunch we headed to deck five to check out the part of that deck’s lanai that we could access. Most of the aft outside section of deck five is for Terazza cabin guests until the evening. I’ll talk a little more about that area later with photos. There are some nice looking, shaded, semi-private seating areas on deck five that are open for everyone, but part of it is a smoking section.

PASTA BELLA LUNCH
Then we went to the Marco Polo dining room on deck three forward for the Pasta Bella lunch. I was really looking forward to this lunch. You can see the menu below.

My husband ordered the roasted tomato soup for his starter and the fettuccine with mushrooms and chicken for his entree, and I ordered the caprese salad for my starter and pappardelle with garlic shrimp, lemon cream sauce and fresh herbs for my entree. We ordered the banana creme pie to share.
The roasted tomato soup was just OK and the caprese salad was good. The entrees were unfortunately a major letdown. Our entrees looked very similar to each other, and they tasted very similar too. They were almost flavorless. I’m not exaggerating. There were even lacking in salt. Even the garlic shrimp had no flavor other than the flavor of shrimp. Somehow the mushrooms had no flavor. There was no lemon flavor at all. Zip, nada. And the sauces on each entree were sort of dry, like they had been sitting out for hours. The food wasn’t even hot. We each took a couple of bites hoping they would somehow have more flavor somewhere in them, but nope, they were still practically flavorless.

The banana creme pie was decent. The sauce on the side made it better.

LA STRADA GRILL

Then we went to La Strada grill, which didn’t disappoint again. You can see the menu above and photos of the food below.

CHINESE LUNCH BUFFET AT SEAFOOD SHACK
Then I went to the Chinese buffet at the Seafood Shack. Yummy! I ordered the Chicken Manchow Soup, Vegetable Spring rolls with hot garlic sauce, Vegetable Salt and Pepper and Pork Stir-fry. I liked all of it, but especially the vegetable spring rolls.

Then I tried two of the cakes from Sweet Spot. The coffee one (the one on the right in the photo) was pretty good.

COMFORT KITCHEN LUNCH MENU
Then I checked out what was being offered at Comfort Kitchen. Some of what was offered is shown in the menu below.

Then I exercised some more and watched my husband play basketball.

When we were done we earned ourselves dessert, so he got frozen yogurt and I got frozen soft serve from Swirls. Then we got a little more of each.

RELAXING ON DECK 11 MIDSHIP
Then we hung out on deck 11 midship. The magradome was covering decks 10 and 11 and it was a nice place to hang out for a bit.

PUNCHLINER COMEDY CLUB
We got changed for the evening and went to Punchliner Comedy Club to watch the comedy show. The comedian was funny. I don’t remember his name.

MAIN DINING ROOM DINNER
Then we went to the main dining room for dinner.

For appetizers my husband had Escargots Bourguignonne and Chicken Noodle Soup and I had and Arancini and Affettati Misti Antipasti. He enjoyed his escargot and I enjoyed the arancini.

For entrees my husband ordered Fusilli and I ordered the Featured Indian Vegetarian. His Fusilli was alright. The Featured Indian Vegetarian was the best of the non dessert items we ordered.

For dessert my husband ordered the Pineapple Sherbet again. It’s so yummy! I ordered Zuppa Inglese; it was alright.

TEATRO ROSSO (THE MAIN THEATER)
Then we went to Teatro Rosso (the Main Theater) for the evening show.
If you don’t get there early, it’s very hard, if not impossible, to find seating that doesn’t have columns blocking your view of the stage.
The show started with a man singing so badly that it almost seemed like a joke, but it wasn’t a joke, he just wasn’t singing well. Then a woman started singing. Wow! She was even worse than the man. We couldn’t take it, so we left. Normally their performers sing better than that. They were so off, at least the first two were. We weren’t around to see if it got better.

LIDO DINNER BUFFET
Then we went to the buffet and had a second dinner because we didn’t eat much of our first because it wasn’t that great. The buffet food was much better. The Cashew Butter Chicken was really good.

SWEET SPOT AT DINNER
I got some dessert at Sweet Spot. A couple of the desserts were excellent!

Then we went to our stateroom to wind down.
